We are under a heat advisory again today as temps reach the low 90s with a heat index of 105°. And yes, it will feel warmer becasue we all know... "IT'S NOT THE HEAT, IT'S THE HUMIDITY!"😆
With the atmosphere still unsettled right now, we will likely see wide spread showers and some storms to our north. I'm thinking most of these will be in the northern third of the state. A few will edge their way down towards the middle of the state, just north of Indianapolis. Indianapolis and the contiguous counties should say mostly dry - but there is the possibility of very small, isolated, and fast-moving cells to pop up mid- to late-afternoon.
There will be some light S/SW winds today raning from 5-9mph.
For those of you attending events like county fairs, concerts, the Indianapolis Motor Speeday or Lucas Oil Raceway... you should be okay. Take a small umprella just in case.
Tomorrow will be a bit iffy and could dampen outdoor events.
